Hi, I’m Rebecca – Mummy of two wonderful children and proud advocate for neurodiversity, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and behavioural support. I’ve spent the past 10 years championing the voices of children and families within the education sector, ensuring that every child receives the understanding, support, and opportunities they deserve to thrive and not just survive.
I’ve been on a personal and professional journey navigating the complexities of neurodiversity and the unique needs of children. My experience has deepened my passion for supporting parents, schools, and nurseries to create inclusive environments where every child’s individuality is celebrated and nurtured.
Through my teaching career, I’ve gained invaluable insights and connected with families facing similar challenges. My mission is to raise awareness, provide guidance, and work alongside educators, professionals, and families to make sure that children with SEND and neurodiverse traits are given the chance to succeed in a world that sometimes doesn’t understand them.
I am deeply committed to empowering children to support with managing their behaviours, with the aim to become more independent, all whilst ensuring a child-centred approach to build their confidence and self-esteem. My approach combines evidence based and compassionate child led practices, ensuring that every child feels understood and supported.
Whether I am advising on behaviour strategies, leading targeted interventions, or training staff on best practices; my goal is for children to be able to advocate for themselves, co-regulate and break down barriers to support those children to reach their fullest potential.
.
I do not advocate or support any forms of ABA Therapy.
